I didn’t discover shrimp tacos till my 20s… but let me tell you…I became hooked. They are fresh, delicious and super easy to make.

Whenever I make my southwest slaw I whip up these babies at some point during the week.

  • 1/2 cup julienned green cabbage
  • 1/2 cup julienned red onions
  • 1/2 cup julienned jalapeno
  • 1/2 julienned yellow pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1/4 hot red pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp pepper
  • 12 medium-sized shrimp
  • 6 corn tortillas
  • 1/4th cup cilantro
  • 1/4th cup diced poblano
  • 1 tsp olive oil

  1. Warm a pan on medium then toss in 2 Tbsps of butter.
  2. Add shrimp, poblanos and shallots into the pan then cook for 2 minutes per side.
  3. Toss all of the slaw ingredients in a bowl and combine.
  4. Warm the tortillas on a pan with a little oil.
  5. Top each tortilla with shrimp, poblano, shallots, slaw and cilantro.
