This is SOOO good and flavorful to the MAX. This is a family favorite of mine, the boys especially love it.

Ingredients

  • 2 8 oz strip steaks, trimmed
  • 2 cups sliced button mushrooms
  • 2 4 oz diced pork dinner sausages
  • 1 medium-sized diced onion
  • 3 cups raw baby spinach
  • 2 whole cloves of garlic
  • 2 rosemary branches
  • 4 Tbsps of butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 Tbsps olive oil
  • 2 tsps salt
  • 2 tsps pepper
Instructions
  1. Warm the oil in the pan and toss in the onions, mushroom, spinach, 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper. Cook down for 5 minutess on medium heat.
  2. Toss in the diced sausage and cook down for another 5 minutes, crisping the sausage.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream.
  4. Salt and pepper the steaks.
  5. Warm the butter in another pan and toss in the garlic and rosemary.
  6. Cook the steaks to temperature basting the steaks with the butter as they cook.
  7. Once cooked, top the steaks with the veggie and sausage mixture
